St. George, Utah
I’d fly in to Las Vegas and get a rental car for this race. It’s the best bet. If you’re doing this race, be prepared for ta solid swim course with easy to see buoys. The Transition one is simple, easy to navigate. But the bike… Oh the bike.. Enjoy the views and the hills. The hills will eat you alive in the canyon if you let it, so you better train for it. I’d recommend training hills a lot for this. As for the run, same things. Hills, dry air, and a lot of sun. There is zero shade on this course and running up steep hills exposed and sometimes with no spectators. Aid stations are stocked well and the experience is great.
Would I do this race? Yes
