This is a well-oiled machine for a race. The venue is in Washington D.C. but starts in Arlington, Virginia. This race features rolling hills, Marines everywhere, and finishes at the Marine Corps War Memorial. I did this race with my friend and Marine Corps Veteran of more than 20 years, Morgon Latimore in 2018. The start line, corrals, expo, and event in general is just something to do and take in. I loved doing this race for many reasons, but the best was because I got to do it with my friend. I look forward to doing this race in the future, but I doubt I’d ever do it to run it faster or finish faster. I just want to enjoy this one.
Would I do this race? Yes. I did it, and would do it again.
