I continue the expert series with doctoral candidate Amanda Leibovitz in a discussion about mental training. We dive into some of the ways to have a better outlook on training, racing, and the ideas of how much of the training and racing is mental. This discussion revolves around the mental side of the game versus physical. Big take away from this episode is how athletes may want to discover how to go seven layers deep, understanding what makes them feel the way they do about workouts, and learning to approach things with gratitude and what about gratitude is so important.
