I continue the expert series with Dr. Kevin Becker, a professor at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Dr. Becker gained his doctorate degree in Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior from the University of Tennessee. In this interview we discuss the importance of mental training, mindfulness, flow, failure, and how to deal with the anxiety in endurance sports. I am grateful for Dr. Becker’s time in coming on the show to give back to the listeners of the show. Some of the highlights of the show would be how to be aware of thoughts both positive and negative and how to distinguish between mental fatigue and physical fatigue.
