Medals - 8.5

Here we go. The highlight of this week was defiantly holding a Comrades Marathon Medal! Super stoked about this.  Talking with Hari about the journey and the logistics is making the more real.  Knowing the pain to come during the race makes it really scary.  But I’ll have some pacing ideas among other things.  Finally looking into getting a coach early November.  Which is to be determined. My pace this week is solid at 10:48 total pace time.  I’m happy with this. I’ll be aiming for over 40 miles this week. 

 

I began scraping my legs and cupping my legs as well. I’m already noticing a lot of difference with this.  I hope to have a solid week of training with no rescheduling this week.  With selling the house, moving towards an unknown, it will be a bit tricky I know. But I’m going to make it happen.

 

My weight is a bigger concern with me right now, I am not sure if I’m eating right or enough, I’m planning to start using my fitness pal soon to start looking at this more closely in the near future.

Confidence in completing Comrades:  I’m feeling stronger but the confidence to do the entire race isn’t really there.
